Ophthalmic surgical consumable manufacturer, Asilomed started its Equipment Division in the year 2005. It entered this entirely new area as it was driven by the need to design, develop and make available a green laser Photocoagulator required for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy at an affordable price.
This product was launched in January 2009 addressing the need initially set to achieve. Since then few more products have been taken up for development and recently a Digital Vision Chart was launched by the Division.
